Your school, can join EDM’s efforts to intercept vulnerable girls before they are trafficked across the Nepal border into India and beyond.

We’ll first discuss if this program is suitable for your school – Project180 is currently only in W.A, however we are looking to expand into other states in the future.

What is Project180?

By intercepting young women and children before they cross international borders, Every Daughter Matters is able to turn their lives around 180 degrees and lead them back to safety.

A global focus

  • Project180 presentations show how human trafficking is a global issue.

  • Project180 presentations help to address toxic masculinity and promote positive alternatives through the work of Every Daughter Matters and similar organisations.

  • The presentations are best suited for students in Year 10 – 12 but can be adapted for younger groups.

A Project180 presentation:

  • Informs students about modern slavery and human trafficking.

  • Delivers immersive and engaging presentations in a standard class period of 45 to 60 minutes.

  • Challenges students to be a part of the solution.

  • Raises awareness of the work of Every Daughter Matters in Nepal.

Meet our presenter:

Darren Reynolds

Since 2007, Darren has facilitated school programs with World Vision, The Salvation Army, Destiny Rescue and now, Every Daughter Matters. That’s a lot of experience.

His presentations draw from field experience in Cambodia and Thailand where he took part in some undercover rescue operations. In Nepal, Darren has experienced first-hand the work done by our partners at border crossing stations, emergency accommodation shelters, and safe homes. His photos, videos and personal stories are informative and inspiring.

Presentations are tailored for school assemblies, class and year groups, and workshops with age-appropriate material and the sensitivity necessary to deliver content that challenges students about students about modern slavery and human trafficking.
