A Path to a Brighter Future
Education is the key to breaking barriers and empowering young girls in Nepal to overcome societal challenges. Pathways to Potential is a transformative initiative that provides rescued girls (those who have escaped human trafficking and abuse) with educational opportunities and life skills support.
Located in the heart of Nepal’s Midwest, our Halfway Home offers a safe, nurturing environment where these young girls can complete their high school education and unlock their full potential.
When going home means danger, we give them a future instead.
Every month, we rescue over 140 girls at risk of trafficking. While some can safely return home, many cannot – because home is where the danger waits. For these girls, the Halfway Home provides not just a place to live, but a chance to thrive. By ensuring they complete their education in a secure environment, we’re breaking the cycle of vulnerability and helping these girls build a brighter future.

How Pathways to Potential Works?
Safe and Supportive Housing
Our Halfway Home accommodates 6-10 girls at a time, offering them a safe space where they can heal, grow, and excel in their education.
Educational Scholarships
Stage 1: A two-year scholarship for girls in Years 9 and 10.
Stage 2: Continuation of support through Years 11 and 12 for those who complete Stage 1, with the option to pursue tertiary education.
Personal Development & Life Skills
In a family-like environment, each girl is cared for by a suitably qualified House Parent and learns critical life skills, including household responsibilities, time management, and career planning. Through mentoring sessions, we nurture both their academic and personal growth.
Community Engagement
We encourage girls to participate in meaningful social events such as International Women’s Day, Anti-Human Trafficking Day, and 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. This not only raises awareness about social justice issues but also fosters a spirit of giving back to the community.
