It is estimated that there are

40 million people

in slavery around the world today!

Human trafficking is a thriving business.

It accounts for $150 billion a year world-wide with women and girls making
up to 71% of all modern slavery victims. This is NOT ok!

Let it not be said

that I was silent when they needed me

The United Nations defines human trafficking as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring, or receipt of persons by improper means (such as force, abduction, fraud, or coercion) for an improper purpose including labour exploitation, organ harvesting or sexual exploitation.

1.5 million

Nepalis are at risk of Human Trafficking

Rescuing Nepal’s Daughters

Nearly 1.5 million Nepalis are at risk of various forms of Human Trafficking says the country’s National Human Right’s Commission as reported in the Kathmandu Post in March 2020.

Nepali girls are especially desirable as prostitutes in India because they are considered more attractive due to their lighter skin colour, and because Nepali virgins are believed to be able to cure AIDS and other diseases.

What if it was your daughter?

Get People Talking

I absolutely love my Every Daughter Matters T-shirt. They really initiate great conversations! I’ve actually had people in supermarket queues ask me questions about human trafficking. They also make a nice gift. On the practical side, they wash and wear really well. Win-win all round.
